I’ve been practising yoga for a good few years now and I love the progress you can make. One of my teacher’s favourite phrases was ‘bit by bit’ and if you practise even a little everyday, you can see big changes over a period of time. I also love the spiritual aspect of yoga.
The doodle patterns I draw have a meditative quality to them. I usually put on some music when I’m drawing them and the music seems to guide the pattern.
I was inspired to draw this after a yoga class. At the end of the class (after savasana) the teacher said to hug ourselves, hug the person you are today, all the beautiful parts of you and all that you struggle with. To love ourselves without conditions. 💕 I love this. Such a lovely thing to do – instead of criticizing, be kind to yourself.
